When we're open, when extended evening appointments run, and how the Crewe hub fills the gaps at weekends.
When we're open

Reception is open during all of these hours. The 24-hour repeat prescription line is separate and runs round the clock.
Extended Tuesday evening hours
Pre-bookable evening appointments run on Tuesday only, from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. These slots are not available on the day - you need to book ahead, either by phone, online, or at reception. Book up to four weeks in advance.
The main doors are locked after 6:30pm. Use the intercom to the right of the main entrance and the receptionist will let you in. Prescriptions and other documents can't be collected after 6:30pm on extended-hours evenings.
Weekend hub appointments in Crewe
We work with neighbouring practices to offer hub appointments at a Crewe location on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. From here you can see:
- A GP
- The musculoskeletal (MSK) team
- Phlebotomy (blood tests for ongoing monitoring, not same-day urgent)
Ask reception when you call and they'll book you in if a hub slot is right for you.
Important: What the hub can't offer
The Crewe hub doesn't run every service. If you need any of the following, you'll need an appointment at Kiltearn during normal hours:
- Blood tests
- Same-day appointments and home visits
- Minor surgery
- Baby checks
- Coil fits
- Treatment room services
- Same-day repeat prescription requests
When we're closed
If you need medical help when the surgery is closed, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays:
- Call 111 or use 111 online for urgent advice and out-of-hours GP access.
- For mental health crises, call 111 and select option 2. Available 24/7, free.
- Call 999 or go to A&E for life-threatening emergencies.
- Visit a local pharmacy for minor ailments and over-the-counter advice. Pharmacy First means many things you used to come to us for can be treated at the pharmacy.
