We offer the full range of NHS GP services, plus several in-house specialist clinics and procedures. Most appointments are booked online, by phone, or at reception. For specialist clinics (minor surgery, joint injections), reception will book you into the next available dedicated clinic slot.

Carers and family

Carers

We have a Carer's Protocol setting out how we support people who care for our patients. Tell us if you're a carer.

Family Planning

Our highly trained nurses give advice on every aspect of family planning, smears, and contraception.

Health Visitors

Health Visitors give advice on the health and welfare of babies and children, and run the Child Development Clinics.

Maternity

Antenatal care with the Weaver Team of midwives, at the hospital or through the community teams.

Long-term conditions

Follow-up care and reviews

All regular reviews for conditions like diabetes, high blood pressure, asthma, and heart problems are carried out by our practice nurse team.

Long-term conditions

Ongoing care for diabetes, asthma, COPD, hypertension, and heart disease. Run jointly by the practice nurse team and the GPs.

NHS Health Checks

Free five-year health checks for adults aged 40 to 74 to assess your risk of stroke, heart disease, diabetes, and kidney disease.

Vaccinations

Childhood Immunisations

The Practice Nurses give all childhood vaccinations. You'll be sent invitations through the post. Phone the surgery to book.

Travel Clinic

Planning a trip abroad? Find out which vaccines are required or recommended. Book at least 6 weeks before travel.

Flu and COVID-19 vaccinations

Seasonal flu vaccinations for eligible patients, usually from September. COVID-19 boosters as commissioned by NHS England.

Minor Surgery

Our GPs are trained to perform a range of minor surgical procedures. We operate a waiting list.

Phlebotomy

Blood taking is an important part of diagnosis. A visiting phlebotomist from Leighton Hospital runs on-site clinics here throughout the week.

Smoking Cessation

Want to give up smoking? Get advice from our local stop-smoking services. Support and nicotine replacement therapy on prescription.

Wellbeing Hub Mental Health Service

Central Cheshire Wellbeing Hub - mental health support, social prescribing, and community wellbeing services.

Pharmacy and medicines

Think Pharmacy - Minor Ailments Scheme

Pharmacists can deal with a lot of minor conditions without you needing a GP appointment. Walk into any participating pharmacy and they'll see you straight away.

Supported by the Nantwich and Rural Care Community Team. Includes District Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and Macmillan Nurses.

We are a research-active practice. Patients can take part in national studies, and our research board is updated weekly with new opportunities.
