What the PPG does
Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) is a small team of patient volunteers who work alongside the practice to make sure our services match what patients actually need. We meet quarterly, share feedback from the patient community, and help shape decisions about how the practice runs.
The group is independent of practice management and isn’t there to deal with individual complaints (the complaints procedure covers that). It’s about the bigger picture: what’s working, what isn’t, and what could be better.
What we've worked on recently
Past projects have included:
- Reviewing patient feedback from the Friends and Family Test and helping the practice act on it
- Discussing how the practice handles the phone queue and call-back system
- Helping launch and refine our online request system
- Supporting flu vaccination clinics and other seasonal campaigns

We’re always keen to welcome new members. Whether you’re a long-standing patient or recently registered, your perspective matters. We meet quarterly, so it’s not a big time commitment.
